Joost Grootens & Dimitri Jeannottat on the book DRWNG / PHTGRPH / RCHV

In this episode I, Anne Bloemendaal, have a talk with the designers Joost Grootens and Dimitri Jeannottat from Studio Joost Grootens about the book DRWNG / PHTGRPH / RCHV that they created for Anouk Griffioen. It truly is a wonderful match, as the studio loves to turn complex matters into intriguing books. We talk about the bold choices they made and how they created a book that really suits Anouk and will push her career further.

The book is much more than just an overview of her work. We also see the creative process in the studio, with coffee, wearing socks. The book is a weapon, according to Joost. Not only metaphorically, but also literally, because it is a large, rich and thick book. And ofcourse we talk about amazing the cover of the book!

The book DRWNG / PHTGRPH / RCHV will be published in March 2026 by Jap Sam Books. At that time, the exhibition will also open at the Kroller Muller Museum.
